Description
KLIDOL 3% contains Povidone Iodine at 3% concentration. It is an antiseptic solution known for its broad
spectrum antimicrobial activity, widely used for disinfection in healthcare and agriculture. It is broad
antimicrobial including bacterial spores, less affected by organic matter than chlorine, and an effective
disinfectant for farms, equipment, and water lines.
KLIDOL has antiviral properties and healing effect, helps accelerate recovery of infected birds. It regulates
body temperature of animals, helps growth and reproduction, regulates muscle and nerve function, controls
the proportion of oxygen by cells during metabolism, helps keep skin/feathers/spurs/beak healthy, helps
metabolise excess fat, is antibacterial and antiviral, prevents Goiter disease, and helps treat common bird
diseases such as fowl pox, avian goiter, and gastrointestinal illnesses.
Mode of action: KLIDOL oxidises sulphur bonds in proteins and enzymes, disrupting cell membrane function
causing rupturing of the cell wall.
Dosage: Farm and equipment: 1 litre per 200 litres water. Water line disinfectant: 1 litre per 250 litres water.
Drinking water to control viral and bacterial disease: 1–2 ml per litre water for 8 hours daily for 3–5 days.
