Description
KLI PEROXIDE 35% contains Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) at 35% concentration. Hydrogen peroxide is a
reactive oxygen species and the simplest peroxide. It decomposes slowly into water and elemental oxygen
when exposed to light, and rapidly in the presence of organic or reactive compounds.
KLI PEROXIDE 35% demonstrates broad-spectrum efficacy against viruses, bacteria, yeasts, and bacterial
spores. Greater activity is seen against Gram-positive than Gram-negative bacteria. It is seen as an
environmentally safe alternative to chlorine-based bleaches, as it degrades to form oxygen and water. It is
safe as an antimicrobial agent approved by FDA.
It oxidises proteins in the cells of organisms and destroys them — effective for hatching egg disinfection. It is
a strong oxidiser that is readily soluble in water and breaks down into water and oxygen, leaving no harmful
byproducts. It can be used to go after germs and bacteria lurking on surfaces. It is a first-line wound cleaning
solution for farm animals. Low concentration (3%) is suitable for general household disinfection. It is used in
aquaculture for controlling mortality caused by various microbes.
Dosage: Farm and equipment disinfection: 1 litre per 200 litres water. Water line disinfectant: 1 litre per 500
litres water. Wound treatment: 3% solution.
