KLI PHYTASE 5000 FYT contains Phytase enzyme (6 Phytase) at 5000 FYT per gram. Phosphorus plays an
important role in metabolism and blood synthesis, is a main constituent of RNA and DNA, is important for
balanced bone growth and optimum egg production and shell quality, and is important for all biological
processes.
About 2/3 of total phosphorus in plant-based feed ingredients (corn, bran, soya) is unavailable and birds
cannot absorb it. This non-available phosphorus is excreted with faeces, causing economic losses and
requiring costly supplementation with inorganic phosphorus sources.
KLI PHYTASE releases non-available phosphorus and makes it available for absorption. It can release about
0.1–0.15% free available phosphorus to the feed. 50–100 g of KLI PHYTASE can replace 5–6 kg of DCP,
saving significant cost. It is heat-stable and can tolerate normal pelleting temperatures. It decreases
phosphorus excreted with faeces, improves litter quality, decreases diarrhoea, and is allowed to be sold inside
the European Union.
