Description
KLI CIDOL contains a group of highly concentrated organic acids that work efficiently in the alimentary tract of
birds. It kills and destroys pathogenic bacteria present in the gut especially Salmonella, E. coli, and Clostridia
as well as other pathogenic bacteria.
KLI CIDOL increases the number of beneficial bacteria in the gut, increases the efficiency and production of
digestive enzymes such as protease, amylase, and lipase, and helps relieve heat stress by neutralising
excess alkalinity that occurs during heat stress.
It stimulates the immune system through increasing immunoglobulin production that improves cellular and
humoral immunity simultaneously, increases spleen size and performance, and increases the size and growth
of the thymus gland. It improves growth and FCR by increasing gastric and intestinal secretion, eliminating
pathogenic bacteria that cause necrotic enteritis and diarrhoea, increasing villi length and growth (improving
vitamin, mineral, and nutrient absorption), and delaying evacuation of intestinal content to prolong absorption.
Sodium butyrate specifically can penetrate Clostridium cell walls and decompose inside them, killing the
bacteria immediately and stopping their growth.
