Description
KLI PEROXIDE PLUS combines Hydrogen Peroxide (21%) and Peracetic Acid (PAA) (15%), presenting a
potent, broad-spectrum antimicrobial solution with significant synergistic effects. While each compound is
effective individually, their combination results in a synergistic effect yielding more rapid and potent
antimicrobial activity than the sum of their individual actions. This synergy is particularly pronounced against
highly resistant microorganisms such as bacterial endospores.
The mechanism: Hydrogen peroxide acts as a permeabilising agent on the protective outer layers of
microorganisms (like the spore coat of bacteria). This initial damage allows enhanced penetration of peracetic
acid, which then exerts its potent biocidal effects on the cell’s interior components including proteins,
enzymes, and nucleic acids.
KLI PEROXIDE PLUS demonstrates broad-spectrum efficacy against viruses, bacteria, yeasts, and bacterial
spores. It is an environmentally safe alternative to chlorine-based bleaches, approved by FDA, non-toxic, and
provides effective for hatching egg disinfection. It is used for sterilisation of various surfaces and rooms,
wound cleaning, farm/equipment disinfection, and in aquaculture.
Dosage: Farm and equipment disinfection: 1 litre per 200 litres water. Water line disinfectant: 1 litre per 500
litres water.
