Description
KLI PHOS is a well-balanced combination of essential minerals for poultry, calves, cattle, goats, and sheep. It
is used for prevention or treatment of mineral deficiencies in all farm animals and for prevention or treatment
of stress due to vaccination, diseases, transport, and other stress conditions.
Calcium & Phosphorus are the main and essential components of bone. Phosphorus is important for every
aspect of metabolism, blood chemistry, and as a component of DNA and RNA. Copper is required for
cartilage growth and for iron absorption needed for haemoglobin and blood synthesis. Manganese deficiency
causes perosis, chondrodystrophy, and thin-shelled eggs. Cobalt deficiency causes anaemia, weakness,
decreased growth and production (it is a component of Vitamin B12). Sodium prevents retarded growth,
decreased egg production, decreased hatchability and fertility. Potassium is required to maintain normal acid
base balance. Zinc prevents hyperkeratosis, poor feathering, skeletal abnormalities, and decreased
production. Magnesium prevents poor growth, poor feathering, and decreased muscle tone. Iron improves
haemoglobin and red blood cell synthesis.
