KLI Boro 17

Description

KLI Boro 17 is a solid micro-nutrient fertiliser based on boric acid, containing 17% water-soluble boron. It is
authorised for use in organic production.

CHARACTERISTICS:
Highly water-soluble fertiliser recommended to prevent or combat B-deficiency. It promotes sugar and
protein synthesis, improves germination and fruit setting. Lack of boron in olive trees, vines, beets, corn
causes beet rot, millerandage, colatura, grape necrosis, suberose tissue in some fruits and lack of
fertilisation in maize with consequent lower yields. In celery and lettuce prevents leaves browning.
To be used only where there is a recognised need. Do not exceed the appropriate dose rates.
COMPOSITION:
• Boron (B) — water-soluble: 17%
DOSE RATES AND CONDITIONS OF USE:
Foliar Application:
• Fruit trees: 2–2.5 Kg/ha — in the first vegetative and pre-blossoming phases or in case of B-deficiency
• Vegetable crops: 200 g/hl — pre-blossoming and fruit-setting
• Flowering plants: 150–200 g/hl — in case of B-deficiency
• Cereals and industrial crops: 2.5 Kg/ha — in the first vegetative phases and before bunch closure
By Fertirrigation: At the same period, or when there is a shortage of boron, at a dose of 2.5 Kg/ha.
In a protected environment reduce the dosage by 20–25%.
MISCIBILITY:
Compatible with most pesticides, both organic and inorganic, except for alkaline-reaction products and
mineral oils
