KLI PEROXIDE 35% contains Hydrogen Peroxide (H\u2082O\u2082) at 35% concentration. Hydrogen peroxide is a
\nreactive oxygen species and the simplest peroxide. It decomposes slowly into water and elemental oxygen
\nwhen exposed to light, and rapidly in the presence of organic or reactive compounds.
\nKLI PEROXIDE 35% demonstrates broad-spectrum efficacy against viruses, bacteria, yeasts, and bacterial
\nspores. Greater activity is seen against Gram-positive than Gram-negative bacteria. It is seen as an
\nenvironmentally safe alternative to chlorine-based bleaches, as it degrades to form oxygen and water. It is
\nsafe as an antimicrobial agent approved by FDA.
\nIt oxidises proteins in the cells of organisms and destroys them \u2014 effective for hatching egg disinfection. It is
\na strong oxidiser that is readily soluble in water and breaks down into water and oxygen, leaving no harmful
\nbyproducts. It can be used to go after germs and bacteria lurking on surfaces. It is a first-line wound cleaning
\nsolution for farm animals. Low concentration (3%) is suitable for general household disinfection. It is used in
\naquaculture for controlling mortality caused by various microbes.
