KLI PHOS is a well-balanced combination of essential minerals for poultry, calves, cattle, goats, and sheep. It
\nis used for prevention or treatment of mineral deficiencies in all farm animals and for prevention or treatment
\nof stress due to vaccination, diseases, transport, and other stress conditions.
\nCalcium & Phosphorus are the main and essential components of bone. Phosphorus is important for every
\naspect of metabolism, blood chemistry, and as a component of DNA and RNA. Copper is required for
\ncartilage growth and for iron absorption needed for haemoglobin and blood synthesis. Manganese deficiency
\ncauses perosis, chondrodystrophy, and thin-shelled eggs. Cobalt deficiency causes anaemia, weakness,
\ndecreased growth and production (it is a component of Vitamin B12). Sodium prevents retarded growth,
\ndecreased egg production, decreased hatchability and fertility. Potassium is required to maintain normal acid
\nbase balance. Zinc prevents hyperkeratosis, poor feathering, skeletal abnormalities, and decreased
\nproduction. Magnesium prevents poor growth, poor feathering, and decreased muscle tone. Iron improves
\nhaemoglobin and red blood cell synthesis.
