\nCHARACTERISTICS:
\nSulphur carries out very specific functions in the plant, as an important constituent of biologically active
\ncompounds. The lack of sulphur in soils causes serious metabolic imbalances, as the plant is unable to
\nproduce proteins; S-deficiency occurs as a chlorosis that starts from the younger leaves.
\nIts use determines a lowering of pH in soil solution, thus KLI AMMONIUM SULPHATE can be conveniently
\nused to modify the reaction of excessively alkaline soils. It can be applied by foliar application or by
\nfertirrigation with periodic treatments. Some elements (Fe, P) in an alkaline environment are poorly
\nassimilable; the use of KLI AMMONIUM SULPHATE makes not only sulphur, but also many other elements,
\nmore available. It regulates the availability of Nitrogen (it has a function in nitrification and urease activity)
\nand, therefore, increases fertilisation efficiency.
