KLI BUTYRATE 98% contains Sodium Butyrate at 98% concentration. Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid and
an essential energy source for cells in the intestinal tract. It also benefits the immune system and holds
antibacterial activity.
KLI BUTYRATE 98% reduces colonisation of Salmonella, E. coli, and Campylobacter. It penetrates the
pathogenic bacterial wall and dissociates inside it, releasing H+ ions and reducing pH inside the bacterial
cells, leading to toxicity inside the bacterial cell and killing it. It stimulates digestive enzyme production,
enhances development of intestinal villi, reduces acute inflammatory response, increases GIT retention time,
improves digestion and absorption, improves growth performance and FCR, and lowers mortality while
increasing liveability.
