Description
KLI TRIN 60% contains coated Tributyrin (Triglyceride of Butyric Acid) at 60%. Butyrate is a short-chain fatty
acid and an essential energy source for cells in the intestinal tract. It also benefits the immune system and
holds antibacterial activity.
The coated form ensures it can arrive at the distal part of the GIT before dissociation, making it highly
effective in controlling and killing Clostridium species and preventing their colonisation. KLI TRIN is highly
effective anti-Clostridium. It reduces colonisation of Salmonella, E. coli, and Campylobacter.
The butyrate penetrates the pathogenic bacterial wall and dissociates inside it, releasing H+ ions and reducing
pH inside the bacterial cells, leading to cell death. It stimulates digestive enzyme production, enhances
intestinal villi development, reduces acute inflammatory response, increases GIT retention time, improves
digestion and absorption, improves growth performance and FCR, and lowers mortality while increasing
liveability.
