Description
KLISTAT is a powerful antibacterial preparation, highly effective against a wide range of bacteria. It is a safe
natural alternative to antibiotics and contains a pure, stable mixture of medium-chain fatty acids combined
with garlic extract, chestnut extract tannins, and Yucca schidegra.
KLISTAT kills intestinal pathogens, lowers infection pressure, decreases residual pathogen activity, and
reduces pathogen virulence. It decreases Clostridium perfringens-induced necrotic enteritis (NE) lesions and
intestinal colonisation. It reduces colonisation of Salmonella, E. coli, and Campylobacter.
The active ingredients penetrate the pathogenic bacterial wall and dissociate inside it, releasing H+ ions,
reducing pH inside the bacterial cells, leading to rapid bacterial cell death. KLISTAT also stimulates digestive
enzyme production, enhances intestinal villi development, reduces acute inflammatory response, increases
feed intake, improves FCR, increases GIT retention time, improves digestion and absorption, improves growth
performance, lowers mortality, increases liveability, and improves immune response.
