KLI Boro 11

Description

KLI Boro 11 is a liquid micro-nutrient fertiliser based on boron ethanolamine, containing 11% water-soluble
boron. It is suitable for foliar application and fertirrigation.

CHARACTERISTICS:
Boron is one of the most important micro-nutrients; its function is to decrease water consumption in case
of drought, to activate nitrogen fixation in legumes, to influence the metabolism and distribution of
phytohormones and to increase frost resistance in fruit trees. Boron deficiency occurs mainly after a
period of severe drought followed by rains or abundant irrigations, as a reduction of flowering and fruiting,
and as an alteration in pollen germination (causing fruit malformation).
COMPOSITION:
• Boron (B) — water-soluble: 11%
DOSE RATES AND CONDITIONS OF USE:
Foliar Application:
• Fruit trees: 2 Kg/ha — at pre-blossoming and in case of B-deficiency
• Wine and table grape: 1.5 Kg/ha — at grape bunches formation, blossoming, fruit setting
• Vegetable crops: 150–200 g/hl — at pre-blossoming
• Flowering plants and ornamentals: 150–200 g/hl — in case of B-deficiency
• Industrial crops: 3 Kg/ha — at 7–8 leaves stage and at bunch closure
Dosage refers to approximately 1000 litres of water per hectare.
By Fertirrigation: At the same stages as foliar application, or when the first symptoms of B-deficiency
occur, at a dose of 3–5 Kg/ha.
In a protected environment reduce the dosage by 20–25%. Apply in the coolest hours of the day.
MISCIBILITY:
Compatible with most pesticides except copper-based products and white oils. Always perform small
scale compatibility tests before use
