Description
KLI Ammonium Sulphate is an inorganic straight fertiliser in liquid form, containing ammoniacal nitrogen and
sulphur trioxide. It is suitable for foliar application and fertirrigation.

CHARACTERISTICS:
Sulphur carries out very specific functions in the plant, as an important constituent of biologically active
compounds. The lack of sulphur in soils causes serious metabolic imbalances, as the plant is unable to
produce proteins; S-deficiency occurs as a chlorosis that starts from the younger leaves.
Its use determines a lowering of pH in soil solution, thus KLI AMMONIUM SULPHATE can be conveniently
used to modify the reaction of excessively alkaline soils. It can be applied by foliar application or by
fertirrigation with periodic treatments. Some elements (Fe, P) in an alkaline environment are poorly
assimilable; the use of KLI AMMONIUM SULPHATE makes not only sulphur, but also many other elements,
more available. It regulates the availability of Nitrogen (it has a function in nitrification and urease activity)
and, therefore, increases fertilisation efficiency.
COMPOSITION:
• Nitrogen (N) — ammoniacal: 8%
• Sulphur trioxide (SO₃) — water-soluble: 20%
DOSE RATES AND CONDITIONS OF USE:
• All crops — Foliar application: 200–300 g/hl | Fertirrigation: 8–10 Kg/ha
In a protected environment (greenhouses, tunnels, etc.) reduce the recommended dosage by 20–25%.
